The Department has completed its work to update the APPR portal to allow for the entry of all measures required by the APPR transition regulations. As of April 1, 2016, the updated APPR portal has been moved from the Review Room platform to the New York State Education Department’s Business Portal, the same location where districts/BOCES submit their APPR Implementation Certification form. Districts/BOCES are now required to submit their completed APPR plans aligned with §3012-d, as implemented by Subpart 30-3 of the Rules of the Board of Regents, through the SED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System on the New York State Education Department Business Portal. Districts or BOCES wishing to make material changes to their approved §3012-d APPR plans for use beginning in the 2016-17 school year must submit such material changes through the SED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System as well.
Districts/BOCES are encouraged to review the “Tips for the Transition From Review Room to SED Monitoring” as they begin work on their §3012-d plans in the new APPR portal. Please submit any questions regarding the operation of the APPR portal within the SED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System to email@example.com.
