Session 1 Research to Build & Present Knowledge

The purpose of this session is to introduce a CCSS-aligned research unit and inquiry process, and teach participants how to initiate inquiry.

The purpose of this session is to teach participants how to teach students to conduct productive CCSS-aligned inquiry through assessing sources and revising inquiry questions.

The purpose of this session is to teach participants how to help students analyze sources by creating evidence-based claims both within and across texts.

Session 4 Implementing Classroom Research

The purpose of this session is for participants to consolidate the understandings they have gained in the previous three sessions by practicing the embedded skills. Participants will learn how to communicate with parents about CCSS research and make over a research project.
