Grade 2: Listening & Learning Domain 5 Image Cards "The War of 1812"

These Tell It Again! Read-Aloud Image Cards for The War of 1812 contain of a set of 26 images on cards, used for extension activities in Listening & Learning strand lessons. By the end of the domain, students will be able to:

1. Look at each picture, think about, and discuss what it happening and what part of a particular read-aloud it depicts;
2. Create a portrait portfolio or gallery of founding American figures, objects, and symbols;
3. Use a Think Pair Share method to ask and answer questions about a particular image; and
4. Research topics conveyed on image cards using trade books and the Internet.
