In this lesson, students read and analyze lines 239–332 from Act 5.2, in which Hamlet and Laertes fence and then wound each other with the poisoned blade. The assessment for this lesson requires students to analyze how central ideas introduced and developed throughout the play interact during the play’s final scene.
