Participants will learn considerations when planning scaffolds in ELA for students with disabilities.
Participants will be brought through the unit planning process. This will include beginning at the end and working backwards, being mindful of current student knowledge and what supports must be put in place for all learners to be successful with the end learning target. Discussion of how to choose resources to best support students without directly providing students with information, but rather allowing them to come to their own learning. This in turn develops deep understanding and engagement for all students.
